I want a more international Copenhagen

Our co-organizer from Copenhagen: Juraj, Co-Founder at Sure

Why did you apply for SEW?

People always talk about Silicon Valley in relation to (tech) startups but we have such an exciting and thriving ecosystem in Europe that I wanted to be part of the SEW initiative the minute I heard about its mission.

What is your goal in organizing Startup Europe Week?

To unite the startup ecosystems in Europe, to raise the awareness of European startups globally and to help European entrepreneurs by showing them how initiatives such as Startup Europe can help them grow.

What would you give to your local community?

I would like to spark inspiration and motivate local entrepreneurs to think about Europe and EU when growing their startups.

What do you think your area needs in order to be a Startup friendly zone?

I think Copenhagen is already a very startup-friendly city (#CPHFTW) but it could still be a bit more open internationally towards both talent and collaboration across borders.

What could Startup Europe and European Union do more about developing Startup ecosystem?

I believe there is a lot that Startup Europe and EU is doing that many entrepreneurs do not know about so the first thing to do would be to make this information more easily accessible to everyone.
