I want to promote an enterpreneurship culture, grow the local ecosystem and connect players

Meet our co-organiser from Kharkiv, Ukraine: Serhii Prokopenko and his team (twitter:‏ @prokopchek).

Why did you apply for SEW?

We like this event as an open source example of ecosystem building activities. Also we are impressed by small teams who organize such huge events and want to repeat their success locally.

What is your goal in organizing an event for Startup Europe Week?

Promote an enterpreneurship culture, grow the local ecosystem and connect players with a focus on pro-european discourse.

What would you give to your local community?

Connections, information about access to finance, focus on social entrepreneurship, creative economy and business model innovations.

What do you think your area needs in order to be a startup-friendly zone?

More ethic and social innovations, more product oriented but no outsoursing policy and connections between players. Also culture changes that change approaches to local business and ambitions of course.

What could Startup Europe and the European Commission do more to develop the startup ecosystem?

Send representatives to speak to officials, with the support of disruptive youth, who will travel, communicate and work in local ecosystems.
