Why did you apply for SEW?

To contribute to the empowerment of the startup community in Thessaloniki.

What is your goal in organizing an event for Startup Europe Week?

To raise awarness regarding EU’s activities & opportunities for start-ups and to encourage ‘raw’ innovation talents to take the first step and enter this ecosystem.

What would you give to your local community?

Input,contacts & tools from the European Union start-up landscape and also links with resources (funding opportunities, mentors, investors)

What do you think your area needs in order to be a startup-friendly zone?

A startup-friendly taxation environment & a more systematic interaction with european startups best practices.

What could Startup Europe and the European Commission do more to develop the startup ecosystem?

To nurture growth by providing conditions for sustainability for “the-day-after starting a startup” and to facilitate by providing overview/comparative guidelines/map for the start-ups conditions among EU-member-states.
